The tour’s first day is free, so you can take your time exploring Ho Chi Minh City or just chill out at the hotel before the fun days. The staff at your hotel and the airport directory will be happy to recommend places to see and things to do. It’s interesting to explore because it has so many historical and cultural sites.

Day 2: Mekong Delta

On the second day, you’ll drive for two hours through the countryside around Ho Chi Minh City to get to the Mekong Delta, where you’ll go on a beautiful cruise. People will be having a good time at the Mekong Cai Be Floating Market. Find out how to make wine, coconut candy, and rice paper in your area. It’s crazy how many boats are at the floating market with goods.

Listen to traditional Vietnamese music and learn about how farmers in the area make a living. The island of Tan Phong has lots of tropical fruits that your guide will show you. One of your new friends will also invite you to their house for Elephant Ear Fish, which is a speciality of the area. When you get back to Ho Chi Minh City, you’ll be tired but happy with what you’ve seen and done. After your hotel, you can eat something tasty or walk around the city at night.

Day 3: Cu Chi Tunnels, Da Nang

You can have a nice breakfast at your hotel and then go to the Cu Chi tunnel complex to learn about how the Viet Cong lived and used them as a military base. It’s interesting to look around the huge network of tunnels. Your guide will tell you about the Cu Chi tunnels and the fight between the Americans and the Viet Cong.

A lot of people visit the 121-kilometre tunnels, which are well taken care of and have some that can be crawled through. After seeing this interesting historical site, eat some Vietnamese food at a nearby restaurant before your next stop, Da Nang. We’ll pick you up at the airport and take you to your hotel for a nice dinner.

Day 4: Da Nang, My Son Sanctuary

On your fourth day of travelling from the south to the north of Vietnam, you will start with a trip to My Son Sanctuary that you will never forget. The tower temple complex and archaeological ruins from the 4th to the 13th centuries are amazing to see. Mountains surround old Hindu temples. Your guide will tell you about the temples’ past and present. Don’t miss the tower temples, which show how important the site was as the political capital of the Champa Kingdom.

After a tasty lunch, you can keep seeing the sights by taking a cyclo or pedicab through Hanoi’s interesting old town.

Day 8: Hanoi, Ha Long Bay
